    Event Description:

The Business Development Committee is happy to offer this event for a fifth year based on the positive feedback we received at the previous years events.

This event is targeted towards our local entrepreneurs, managers and leaders who are interested in tapping into the wealth of local experience from seasoned business leaders from our community. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions of these local experienced business owners at a moderated event. Hear how they have weathered the difficult times, and maximized the good times for growth.

Thank you to our generous Mentors who have graciously donated their time and expertise to help make this event happen this year.

Paul is the Head Coach/General Manager of the two-time MJHL Champion Steinbach Pistons and has held that post since 2012. He is a two-time MJHL Coach of the Year and this past season reached the 250 win plateau faster than any coach in MJHL history. Paul helped guide Team Canada West to a gold medal at the 2015 World Junior A Challenge with a win over Russia in the finals. Under his guidance, over 40 of his players have gone on to play college hockey or at a higher level.
Paul was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991 and played over 1000 professional games during a 15 year career. Five of those years were spent playing in Europe which included a Championship in Germany and an opportunity to play in the 2003 Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland.
He also co-invented and patented the Equiface Saver and traveled North America for four years marketing the product.
Paul, his wife Candice and their three children reside just outside of Steinbach. When he is not in an arena, he enjoys watching his children play volleyball, baseball or soccer and spending time together as a family.
